- 4 tbs unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
- 1 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk
- Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth. Stir in salt and cool 10 minutes.
- Sift together cocoa and powdered sugar.
- Gradually add cocoa mixture to chocolate mixture, beating constantly at low speed.
- Gradually add milk, beating until completely incorporated.
- Beat at high speed until light and creamy, about 1 minute.
