Streusel

This nut and brown sugar streusel is good on coffee cakes.

Ingredients

For 2 cups
  • 100 g (3/4 cup) walnuts or pecans
  • 30 g (3 tbs) all purpose flour
  • 45 g (3 tbs) butter
  • 130 g (2/3 cup) brown sugar
  • 1 g (1/2 tsp) cinnamon

Steps

  1. Chop the nuts coarsely, if not sold chopped.
  2. Mix together the flour, butter and sugar, and cinnamon together until crumbly.
  3. Mix in the nuts.
